Today is an exciting day for Fox! We are pleased to announce that our very own FOX Sports Media Group (FSMG) has made television history today by officially announcing FOX Sports 1. FOX Sports 1 is a new, national, multi-sport network that will be available in over 90 million homes. It is also the biggest sports cable network to ever launch in history!

FOX Sports 1 will feature nearly 5,000 hours of live sporting events including prime time college basketball games, college football games (including the Big Ten Championship Game and Pac-12 Championship Game), regular season MLB games, select MLB League Championship Series and Division Series games, select Nascar Sprint cup series races, Daytona 500 qualifying, UEFA Champions League, UEFA Europa League, CONCACAF Champions League and UFC Fight nights.

FOX Sports 1 will also be introducing FOX SPORTS LIVE, a 24/7 news franchise providing around-the-clock coverage through regularly scheduled programs and hourly updates.

On top of covering live sporting events and having news coverage on Fox Sports Live, FOX Sports 1 will also be airing original shows like RUSH HOUR, hosted by Regis Philbin. RUSH HOUR will air live weekdays (5:00-6:00 PM ET) and consist of a panel of sports professionals, celebrity guests and die-hard fans in a brand new, unpredictable, talk show.
