19th Annual Screen Actors Guild Awards

Sunday January 27th marked the 19th Annual Screen Actors Guild Awards. For those of you who are not aware, the Screen Actors Guild Awards (or SAG Awards for short) is a very unique awards show which began in 1995 that praises the work of SAG-AFTRA union members.  Since 1995, all active members of the SAG-AFTRA union recieve information including ballots and screeners to vote for their choice in outstanding performances of the year.  The SAG-AFTRA union has more than 165,000 members including actors, announcers, broadcasters, journalists, dancers, DJs, hosts, puppeteer’s, recording artists, singers, stunt performers, and voiceover artists.
